Cone Filter Intake

I just recently took out my stock airbox and put in a cone filter. I had to acquire a part so that the filter would attach to the MAF. So i got that, but now i have a slight problem. There was a sensor i unhooked while taking out the stock airbox which needs to go somewhere, i just dont know where. I believe it is the 0/2 sensor. If anyone could help out that would be great. I'm trying to get a pic of what the install looks like soon. Thanks in advance.

hmm, did you remove the scoop in front of the airbox? Where the air enters in? I know there are two sensors there (boost and air temp).

Yes i removed the scoop as well...one of the sensors fitted on the scoop just underneath it... now hrm.. i only see one sensor that i have left over. Its either the boost or the air temp.. do they look the same? I have pics.. i just need to host them and link to them.

one goes outside of the scoop on the passenger side and the other one goes inside the scoop. I recommend putting the scoop back on because it actually brings some cold air into the engine bay. SOme guy did a study and found it drops air temp 3 - 4 degrees.

I finished putting the scoop back in.. and i have put the sensor that goes on top of the scoop back in(the air temp one i think). But where is the boost sensor located i cant find it anywhere... and i dont see a spot for it to go on the scoop. There is a hole on the drivers side of the scoop..not sure if you meant that instead of passengers.

you dont have one. early 2ks have two sensors on the scoop. you can either keep the stock scoop with the sensor plugged in or ziptie the sensor as close to the filter as possible. i kept mine in the scoop.

would you mine taking a pic of your intake setup with the scoop.. also if looking directly at the scoop on my car... there is a little black tube to the left of the scoop which is just open ended and does not plug into anything. any idea what i need to do with that? i forget if that connected to the scooop or what.. thanks
