I bought a 2002 GLE and it had a spoiler (non oem) installed. The problem is it has the interior brake light thing still hooked up. I bought the plastic cover from my dealer and took out the light. I pulled the bulb out and tucked the wire into the rear deck and thought I was ok, Problem is every time I step on the brake, I get the little "brake light out" indicator on my dash. Does anyone know a way (besides putting th bulb back in ) to resolve the problem permanently.

Anyone out there have a clue or maybe have the OEM spoiler installation instructions?

Is there a brake light on the spoiler? If so, just swap the wires between the two.
