A familiar story...

they got my headlights yesterday.

They also popped off my grill, dented the bumper and sides.

they did not get the light ballasts, I guess the Data Dots stopped them.

I'm going to see an adjuster on Tuesday.

I want to get 01 headlights and a custom grill.

Any suggestions on where I can get these items? I tried to do a search on this site but it is not working.
I heard the grills at Grille-Tech will rust. Is that true?

Any help will be appreciated.

yeah, you could get those projector headlights and just replace the projectors inside to HID projectors.

I think u should just collect insurance and grab another set of HIDS. I had it happen to me once, i think it happens to everyone around here once. Not really feeling the projectors, but the AE headlights are cool.

Are the projector lights also getting stolen? I would like to get them but I'm sure the people who stole my lights will be back to see if I replaced them with another pair and i don't want to have to go through this again.

I got hit in Essex County NJ, have only been living here 3 weeks so I don't think I like my chances with another pair of HID's

where can I get a good grill that will not rust. I don't want the hassle of having to paint them sometime, we get a lot of rain here.

here is what you should do:

get the insurance to pay for your hids.
buy a pitbull and chain it to the car. get a 50caliber, a good alarm and stay -up a few nights. when the pit barks and the alarm goes-off, shoot the m-fuqers in the A$$...no one will touch your car again..

thanx for the suggestion but that would be impractical for me to do.

I'm going to get plain Halogen headlights. Do I need any special fittings to get them in my 03 Maxima?

Can a local mechanic do it?

forget all the pitbull crap and get your self one of those wireless video cameras that has a built in motion sensor. wire it up to your car and point it right at the hood. you will get one of those mother Fu****. I also vote for the blacked out projectors with some bi-xenons installed in them.

Blacked out projectors are not a target? It would seem so to me, I just don't want to get vandalized again.

Does anyone know an installer who can put the 00/01 lights into my 03?

Go with 00 Headlights and 00 Grill, and install a good alarm, wheel locks, and a club, next time its going to your rims / radio, get yourself a low deductable and cover theft...

they are going to hit you again. and again.. make sure you get yourself a sold alarm.
Jersey is the anti christ for the maxima's

I live in Jersey City and, if you have the parts, I'm SURE I can help you figure it out. I'd love to see it anyway as I'm thinking that might have to be an option down the road for me too

in the import section.... Lots of people have these including myself. Couldn't be happier with it.

I think I'm going to put the HID's back on at the dealer and trade it in.

Any suggestions on a good car that will not get messed with in North Jersey???
