Exhaust Question/Need Input

Hey to all. I have a 2k2 6spd, and I wanted to get some input from all of you guys on the boards. I want to get my max to sound just like a stock 350 or a G35 coupe. I love the low, mean growl that those cars produce and would love to emulate the sound. The closest I've heard is the Stillen rear section. I want the exhaust to sound deep and throaty, not high pitched and droning. Any suggestions to make my 3.5 sound like this?

Trapped in GA, huh? LOL! A single 350Z or G35 probably won't do it -- plus it'll be too restrictive. Unless you wanna spend mad $ on a dual exhaust. Remember, our exhausts were originally designed for the Skyline. You might wanna consider a stock Mitsu Eclipse GT exhaust, if you can find one. They're pretty open and sound killer. Very much like a stock Z or G35. They sound very Maserati to me ...

How about the custommaxima dual exhaust system? Anyone have any experience with that system?

a TRUE dual exhaust would mean two exhaust pipes running from each of TWO sets of headers...most "dual exhausts" on japanese cars (including those on V6 Accord, Acuras, etc...) are really only ONE exhaust that splits into two pipes behind the cat (either splits into two with two seperate mufflers or two exhaust pipes split off of a single muffler) Either way, this is not a true dual exhaust, it's actually just adding extra weight and not improving performance.

looks good though
