Greddy Evo rear section and stock b-pipe.

I was asked this question, and honestly have no idea: Will the Greddy rear section fit the stock y-pipe on (AE?) Personally I think it may require some limited modification, but I may be mistaken. Has anyone done this, or know whether or not it will work.

Thanks

It didn't work on my 2k2, the bolts didn't line up with the hole.......where they connect. Perhabs some modification is required.

That's what I'm thinking as well, I know I had a problem lining up stock muffler with Greddy b-pipe. It doesn't take all that much to either modify the b-pipe or the muffler to get flange to line up. Or the easiest way is to have the damn thing welded on.

now why in gods green earth would someone want to leave the stock b-pipe on. of the whole catback, that is prolly the MOST restrictive. if anything, get the b-pipe replaced before the muffler section.

Not sure, to be honest with you. Someone looking to buy the Greddy Evo rear section asked me whether it would fit a stock b-pipe. I do agree though, he should get a less restrictive b-pipe as well if he is looking to upgrade his exhaust.
