Hey, does anyone know anything about Silver Xtreme bulbs? I was chatting with someone online who said he just installed them on his Maxima. They are chrome coated amber bulbs that hide make the bulb appear silver, but they actually light up amber when you turn the signal on.

He bought them from www.visionbulbs.com, and says they're wicked.

If anyone knows about these, please let me know.

or you can do it yourself for alot cheaper. Take your normal bulbs, mask the base part, and spray a light coat of silver enamel paint on them. It still shines through with a normal color when lit, but is silver when off. I have all of my turn signal bulbs painted this way....

exactly the same effect as the stuff on visionbulbs, but you can do it yourself for alot less $$ (and when they burn out, you can just buy normal bulbs from the auto store and paint them instead of having to order away for em.)
