clinking noise when making 90 degree turns

2000 max with only 19000 miles, when making turns, both left and right, the front end making a clinking noise. It sounds like when the wheel truns it is hiting a metal shield, any suggestions?

Fixed the noise. It appears the backing metal plate / thin shield behind the front disks contacted with the rusty edge of the disk. just inserted a small flat screwdriver between the shield and disk to create a small gap, and the noise disappear.
