Squeaky clutch problem? (long)

I have been having some problems with my 02 6sp Max reccently and wanted to see if anyone can help diagnose the problem. First off, my car has almost 32k miles on it. About 3k miles ago I brought my car into the dealer for a couple of things...one thing I wanted them to look at was the tranny because it seem that my shifting was feeling rough. It seem to get harder and harder to shift smoothly. My last two cars were sticks and I never noticed it before so I don't believe its me.

The dealer of course said there was nothing wrong, also about the cold start rattle (don't believe them). So about 1500 miles ago every time I pushed the clutch in, it squeaks. I again brought it into the dealer this time they "lubed the clutch" the noise was gone and the car seem to shift a little smoother again.

Now, without surprise the squeak is back! Also the rougher shifting. I don't want another band-aid fix but I wanted to see if anyone else had this problem or knows what could be the root cause??

Also I noticed my clutch engages near the top of the clutch pedal. Correct me if I am wrong but, I always thought new clutches would engage near the bottom or middle of the pedal and for 30k on a clutch It would seem to me it should be fairly new. I had my 93 Altima for 150k+ before I needed a clutch.

Background information, I have had the car since January bought it with low 20k miles. I put Redline tranny fluid in it close to when I first bought the car. Most of the miles are highway.

Thanks in advance for any help!!

Can at least some of you 6sp owners post where in the pedal position when your clutch engages? Curious how different it is compared to mine and others...Thx

In most cases, i was told is the master slave cylinder making the noise and no amount of lubrication will make the squeak stop...it just needs to be replaced ...the part is only $50 at a Nissan Dealership but good luck getting it installed bc its mega money if you can't do it urself...and it's a royal pain to do bc u have to remove the entire clutch if i'm not mistaken...do what i do and many other people do..ignore it or turn up music bc its not really worth fixing and isn't anything really bad for the car

Should this be covered in the warranty?

I just called the service department at a nissan dealership near me and they said the master slave cylinder is not covered under warranty unless it has failed...he said to lubricate the piston up top and some other things but a squeak isn't justification to replace or fix anything under warranty...oh well good try i guess.

Thanks for your help! The noise is annoying, I guess I have to keep bringing the car in until (a) they really fix it or (b) I get tiried of dealing with it. It is a big hassle.
