Best CAI and Cheapest????

I know that this will get alot of opinions and I hope so, because I do not want to waste my money on something of bad quality and no performance. So, who do you guys think makes the best CAI and where can I get it from and for about how much? I would like to see pics of different ones also, if anybody is willing to share them with me. Thanks

Place Racing is the only real CAI...u can get it from cattman for around $200 shipped....Injen is another option but its not really a true CAI...both look nice...i have the place racing and love the performance and especially the sound...just so u know if you get the place racing you have to cut a hole in the engine bay for the filter to sit in the wheel well to get the cool air...not hard to do tho...comes with good instructions and a template for cutting...pics of my intake installed on my cardomain site if you wanna see what it looks like

Looks nice, that's about what I am looking for too. Thanks for the info. Also, what is a budget Y pipe and where did you get it? Did you leave your stock muffler? Did it change the sound of the exhaust?

KRUPPA- i checked cattman out and they don't have the CAI for the 03 by Place Racing, the only one they have is Cattman, is it just as good or better, it is more than $200.00 though.

I don't have experience with that CAI however Cattman is usually the best I suppose even tho the name is what you're paying for some of the time but to me it looks the same as the Place Racing and you can rest assured with the Cattman name that it will be quality...it also requires a hole to be cut and has the same filter and placement so I say go for it.

surely there are more than just the Cattman and Injen out there. I have seen some on here before that looked really good, I don't know how well they performed, but they looked awesome.

On the group deal, the berks had a good price. You can check them out at berktechnology.com

Best and cheapest? Do the GAB... or one of the variants where you have dryer tubing going down to your lower splash guard
Costs only some parts from Home Depot.

best cheapest CAI go with the Injen knockoff from ebay for 50 buxs, cant go wrong. I have it, and works and looks good (yea, yea and people are going to say is not a real CAI, it sucks up water, kills your MAF, etc,etc - all BS because I have had it for 6 months no problems and car runs great with it)

I second the OSCAI and GAB. ALthough it doesn't look too great, it gets the job done and best of all it is practically free.
