car woke up VERY sluggish

well now this is really ****ing me off

one day after i post this...

http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=327307

my car died on me!

i washed it this morning, and moved it a couple times to stay in the shade, away from the sun, everythign was fine [except for that usual stupid timing chain sound]

anyway, after i cleaned everything, i had to jet for school, and i start it.
it took a little more *umph* for the car to start, and it did, but it died a second later... i try again, and this tiem it wont go at all.a few minutes and few tries later, i get it to start, and everything has been fine for the entire day ever since.

anyone have an explanation for this?
is this just the car acting up, hinting it it wants it's 60k service 5k miles early?

btw, still no SES light...but i can FEEL it's AURA around me..it's coming for me! mommy

Possibly the ECU dumping too much fuel (cold start mode) and flooding the engine?

Some fuel injected cars are worse about this than others -- if you start them, say, just to move them in your driveway, they will flood out next start attempt because the ECU gets confused. Old RX7s with the first gen FI had this problem real bad.

Hasn't happened on my 2k2 yet, though.

did you wash out your engine bay. I cleaned out the engine bay on my old 4th gen once and it had trouble starting when i tried to leave, dunno what caused it but could've been something similiar
