Hi all:
I am new to this forum and I read the previous posts about rattling sounds and other problems of your beloved maxi 2k+. I wonder at what milage do those problems occur? I just hit 4000 miles with my 2k maxi and there is a rattling sound when I start the engine. I think it is located near the air bag of passenger seat. Anybody notice the same thing?

thx all

lol, thanks for the laugh...the rattling stuff taught me a lesson....dont buy a car which just moved into a newer generation, a lot of problems here and there due to the lack of real world test and experience. After nissan hears all our complaints, they will start to make the car better and better.

thx, and hope no one's airbag will pop =)

Welcome! Go through some of the old threads because they contain lots of useful info. The rattles and stuff start at different times, so check those threads to find your answer.

no problems here...

I'm just about to hit 6000 miles, my new (stock) maxima's doing just fine (knock) (knock) (knock on wood)... I'm new to this group, I just bought my first new car 8 months ago. I'm so happy I opted for the maxima! After my discovery of maxima.org, the past week and a half I've been hardly working and been an addict to this forum. Very cool people here! Very cool personal sites, and Very HOT Maxes!
I'm ready to mod up my max!...wait I'll need $$ to do that...back to work
