Waiting to pick up my mj blue 2k1 se and while browsing over the brochure(for the 50th time) i noticed that i get a factory sub in the back. Just curious how big a sub it is. Im assuming its just gonna be a 6.5 inch speaker capped off at 120hz. or there abouts.

I *think* its a 7"

it makes a pretty big difference over the stock system. It makes the rearview pretty much unusable at high volume and even manages to unearth a few rattles in the back deck. Its not comparative to an aftermarket 10+, but makes for a pretty well rounded stock system

yeah?? i thot it was a 8. but none the less the sub has a very unique desing.. u notice any magnets?? it's not attached to the sub.. it's in that lil plastic basket thing under it.. it is a great improvement over most stock systems that imust agree. it's very balanced. the sub does not hit too hard to cover up the mid range frequencies. bose did a great job on the max but i'm not saticefied. i'm never.
