How much louder with Cattman headers?

My Cattman catback should be hear any day and as soon as it gets here, I'm scheduling time with my mechanic.

I'm thinking about getting the headers and installing them at the same time. How much louder will the headers make it? Twice as loud as just running with the catback? My car is an everyday drive.

Will the noise be a deep rumble?

Thanks for the help. Glad to see the board back up.

Does anyone have the link to the 3.5 maxima cattman headers? I cant seem to find one. Is there a powergain difference between the cattman and hotshot headers?

Cattman did not make a special 3.5 header. Instead, he's saying that the 3.0 headers will fit our engine.

I have hotshot/cattman catback.

It will be pretty loud, but it's definatly worth it. At reasonable rpms while cruising on highway it isn't too loud, as long as your in 6th/overdrive and arent accelerating.

I sort of wish i did the cattman headers, but i do recommend you get a real nice catback if you go with headers (which you did of course : P) The resonator is whats important.

Don't think it will sound ricey, it sounds like nothing you heard before.

Bryan said the *edit cattman make more power, yet i doubt there is a big difference. The big difference is his design is better, and the acoustics are better. Yet for 300 difference, it depends on how much you really care about this. The hotshot headers are great. With cattman you pay a hefty premium, yet you do get what you pay for : ]

HS headers do not fit almost at all with the latest batch. I recomend Cattman headers, they fit good and for cars with EGR U don't gotta worry bout check engine lights. Only 95-and some 00s had EGR.
