ATTN: 5th Gen Owner with G35 Coupe 18" rims
Hi:
For those of you have G35 18" rims and tires on your 00-03 Maxima, does your existing Nissan logo center caps fit perfectly? In addition, the rear tire size is bigger than what Tirerack recommended, is it necessary to change it to 225/45/18? Thanks in advance!

Existing cap fits perfectly but if you want to sell your stockers, best advice would be to purchase center caps off ebay. The rear dust caps have to be tapped in with a hammer. The G35 comes with 225/45/18 up front and 245/45/18 in the rear. I sold the Michelin Pilot Sports on ebay and used the money to purchase 235/40/18 Nitto 555's. Two other members have the original tires still on the wheels and they have problems with rubbing over large bumps.
hey there, been lurkin on this forum for a while and finally decided to join, but i was wondering lumbee ,how are you liking those infinti rims with the nito 555s?i just got some of those rims and was looking into what tires to get so i was curious.
yungun, did you ever end up getting them?and if u did what do u think?
thanx

I must agree, I love those wheels on the Max.
I'd love to add a set to mine but there seems to be a difficulty acquiring them for a reasonable price. If I can find them, I'll definitely snag them should the price be right. Otherwise, it's a set of Konig Imagines.
That car is really sweet, though Lumbee.

I paid $700 for a set of 4 with 50 miles on them. Once in a lifetime deal.
I like the way the 555's handle on dry conditions. In the wet they break traction easy and hydroplane pretty badly. Still no where near as bad as the OEM Craptenzas. The ride on the 555's is quiet and smooth. I had Kumho 712's for a little while and they were tight and controlled but very finicky and rough. Would I do the 555's again? maybe, but I would prefer the new Pirelli's PZero Nero M&S

If only I could find a deal like that. It'll most likely end up being the Konig's, though.

Just wish I had that $900 to blow right now.

are the front wheels 18x7 and the rears 18x7.5's?
if so, I'd imagine getting four front wheels or 4 rear wheels would be the best thing to do...
how much do these weigh? if they aren't light weight performance orientated I'd probably leave them alone..
