Clutch Problem ***6 speed ONLY***

Hey Guys

I just noticed a couple nights ago that I need to push my clutch down much further in oder to put my car into any gear. I can't even shift smooth anymore.

Like before i needed to push my clutch 3/4 of the way to shift, now it needs to be on the floor pretty much. Car has 22k miles.

I read somewhere it can be adjusted. I also read u can adjust the height of the pedal, but I dont want to do that. I need to know if either my clutch is bad or if it can be adjusted elsewhere?

Please help

Make sure its not low on fluid, check the clutch slave as well. The clutch being bad should have nothing to do with how far down you need to push the pedal in order to put it in gear.
The only thing a bad clutch will do is slip.

Dealer is replacing my slave cylinder. It makes a loud clicking noise when I press and depress the pedal. Do you have any similar noises?

What is a clutch slave? I checked the break fluid next to the steering column and its fine.

Look in your manual, it should tell you the location of the slave cylinder

I think the 3rd gear synchro is screwed in my car. I've been trying to get the dealer to fix/replace my tranny for a couple months now. Whatever the problem is, get it fixed B4 the warranty is up.

I have the same clicking problem, but the car isn't under any warranty anymore (except powertrain). How hard is it to replace the slave cylinder?

I just talked to Dave Burnette. He says that the Slave Cylinder will never ever make a clicking noise. He seems to think that the noise that I am hearing is either the Cruise Control Cancel Switch or the Clutch Pedal Position Switch.
