according to the site:

Denso themselves dyno'd a Civic 1.8 L Race Engine, and managed to Massage 59 more HP from Switching from Platinum to Iridium Plugs.

...

Follow my logic : considering our motors are 3.5 L, we should then be able to get 114hp from changing to these plugs. Hello 12's!

Too bad ebay doesn't allow like a mini forum or guestbook. Some of these characters would get reamed like nobodys business.

well i think our cars actually come with iridium plugs in them, but 59 hp is funny you can gain a couple of hp from platinum to iridium

no dyno sheet = no one cares.

I can gap my original plugs to 1.00" and make my car running like crap and spitting out 96whp. then put in these plugs with the correct gap and get a 170whp..... here is my 70whp gain after switching to new iridium plugs

Lower in the description it says:

"We Took a 1995 Nissan Maxima GXE, With an Air Intake Kit, to a Dyno Facilty in our area. We got these gains from an average of 2 runs.

1995 Nissan Maxima with 99,442 Miles

5.4 HP Increase At the Wheels

6.0 TQ Increase At the Wheels "

This sounds credible, I wonder if it's true?

Sure it's credible, if the plugs were worn or incorrecctly gapped to begin with. Bet they would have seen the same gains from a cheap set of NGK or Champion coppers!

His claims shouldn't be a shock, considering he's also the guy that brought us the RVM UDP's...
