Today i was driving around and my power window switch for the driver side started acting weird .. the Auto down would not work and when i used it it went down just a lil but if i Manulay hold it down it goes all the way down and another thing when i was rolling window UP IF i did not hold the switch the whole time it would roll back down but if i hold the switch up the whole time all the way to the top it stayed up .. ??? and then later on my driver and pasanger side windows from the main control would not go up or down no matter what i did and i reached over and tried the pasanger window from pasanger side and it was not working at all the only thig i could notice was when i tried rolling it up even tho it was alredy up u can hear it try for a sec and thats it but rolling down nothing at all ... ????? and then i was like WTF then i tried the 2 back windows from the main driver side control and those worked and now only my back windows roll up and down and my fronts dont even move what would cause this ? and how can i fix this they were all working great yesterday WTF .. ? That seems to be a common problem with Nissans. The dealer showed me a Pathfinder (they didn't have any Maximas on the lot with a nav) and it had the same problem with the driver's window. I don't know what year it was. My driver's window motor crapped out last year. It wouldn't work when it was hot...which is pretty much when you want to lower the window. Dealer replaced it and no problems since. Now, I know I haven't actually answered your question, but it's all I got.

the pass side will roll-up and not down. i can roll it down from the drivers side switch. my friends 01, window rolls down, but not up...damn switches
