Painting Engine Parts (Plastic)

Kinda bored with the engine display i have going now, its pretty much stock wit a CAI. So i was thinking of matching everything with the red of the CAI, not sure if anyone has done this before. I'm looking to spray paint the windshield washer cap, and the other plastic caps that are paint-able.

Is it okay if i use all-purpose spray paint? says it works on plastic

but on the bottle somewhere it says ideal for low humidity, do not use in high humidty. anyone know what i should use or is this fine?

Check my homepage for pics of exactly what you're looking for. I used high-temp primer, engine enamel, and clearcoat.

Tried to match the color of my Red Top. It was a Toyota body color, IIRC.....

I also painted the resevior bottles matte black. Looks better than the white IMO.

Or you can go the long and time consuming road of sanding, priming, painting, sealing, polishing... meh

Bluesbrekr: The black bottles do look nicer imo, but then you can't easily visually check the fluid level...

Doesn't show in the pic, but I left the angled corner of the radiator bottle unpainted so I can see the level.

I wasn't that concerned about the washer fluid neck...that's all black.
