Motor mounts
Motor mounts
Are motor mount replacements or motor mount inserts readily available for the 2003 Maxima? I fear that spirited driving (legally and safely at track events, of course) combined with some light to moderate power mods might be punishing my stock motor mounts.
Polo has Energy Suspension motor mounts:

However, IIRC you can use 95-01 Maxima Place Racing poly mounts(stiff) or simply windoweld your stock mounts.

in response to the questions...you can usually look and see the bushing is smashed or torn; don't know exact price yet...still doing the research myself; moderate amount of labor. if you aren't proficient with most bolt on mods, i wouldn't try it, but if you feel comfortable doing struts and full brake jobs, it will only be a little more difficult. make sure you read some of the how too's so you don't drop the motor on your head! and lastly, there are 4. front and rear will make the most difference. sides don't do a whole lot for improving performance (motor movement) these will give you a bit of vibration at low rpm. depends on how luxurious you want your max to feel. i've driven several cars with the poly mm and the vibration was minimal to me, but for the discerning driver...too much vibration transmitted through the steering wheel. hope i helped. i am not an expert, so if anyone has better input, feel free to correct me.

The Energy Suspension ones are designed to have less vibration at idle that the PR's.
