Rear view mirror just fell off my windsheid. how can I put it back on?
As the title says, it fell off. it was a hot day, and when i went out to my car on my lunch break, it was just hanging from a wire. any ideas what i can do to stick it back up there? is there a special glue i have to use? i really do not feel like going back to the dealer. thanks guys

The kits that sell at your local auto store will attach your mirror back on but it will allow the mirror to vibrate. Your best bet is to use crazy glue. Sticks in two seconds and it won't allow your mirror to vibrate. The kits suck big time!
I used to have a 5.0 and had the mirror issue. After several times to the auto parts store and many dollars spent, my friend who works as A MB mechanic told me that they use crazy glue. I tried it and it worked like a charm.
Good luck.

my arms were tired... hopefully it sticks, i do not feel like doing that again, or taking it somewhere. my car is only 2 years old... things should not just randomly fall off. lol.
o well, i will see how it works out, and i will keep you posted.

Blkmax95c,
Use the Permatex from autozone, pepboys, or checkers auto parts store. It works
great. I've used it on a friend's stanza couple years ago and it still works. Instruction is fairly simple and inexpensive. Goodluck!!!!

if you do it right, follow the directions then you will have no problems. I had my windshield replaced, and it came off right after that...bought that stuff, Permatex I think someone mentioned, and it has not come off since. Done it on a couple of cars before...
