Moisture in headlights???

Moisture in headlights???

Been getting moisture in the passenger headlight since I bought the car, could it mess anything up??? ****es me off cause they took it out when I was looking at the car and said it wouldnt happen again, any ideas?

I was told it could blow your headlight bulbs. Not sure bout anything else. But whatta reason to upgrade to something else.

nope 38k on it so only warrenty left is the tranny....not a big deal doesnt happen often but just bugs me a little when its all fogged up, does that mean it was def in an accident? carfax was clean didnt look like it was ever hit either.

I bought mine new in 2002 and have had condensation in both bulbs since.

Yank the housing out of the car, pull the bulb, wrap a piece of cloth around a chopstick and stick it in the housing through the bulb hole. You can also use some canned air to help with the drying, just don't turn the can upside down or else you will get some white marks on the inside of the housing.

A better way would be to break the seal, with the use of an oven, wipe it out and reseal it with some silicone.
