Transmission Issues

Well my car has been sitting at the local dealership for over 2 weeks now. First they diagnose it as needing a new tranny. Ok no problem. The warranty company supplies a used unit. And they recommend that I install a new clutch at the same time. Sure thing. Fork out the money get the new clutch.

Now they have everything in the car, and they can't figure out why the clutch is engaging RIGHT off the floor. I mean it's a REALLY low engagement point. The techs are stumped as to what it might be. Anyone have any ideas?

I have an idea, your dealer is stupid. Tell them to bleed the clutch, then adjust the master cylinder.

Maaan hook it up with the old tranny Tell them you want the old one back if anything. Extended warranties don't call back for the parts Matt. Also why didn't you AIM me on AOL bout this ?? We talked a while back on AIM- Serban send ya my way. Lemme know whats up. Like Brandon says, bleed the clutch, then adjust the pedal- I remember we did his that way on a rainy afternoon in his driveway :P
