How much $ to repaint bumper

I was backing up today in a parking lot when I hit a yellow piece of concrete that used to hold a lamp post. I couldnt see it when in the car, and i was rushing to get to work. Anyways the right side of the bumper is all scuffed up now, im ****ed, im usually much more careful with my max. Does anyone no the price to repaint a rear bumper from nissan will cost. Or any paint shop for that matter, thanks.

I just got a quote from a Nissan body shop, which is on the premisses of my local Nissan dealer- 800 bux to paint my front and rear bumpers. My friends friend will do both for 260. I'm actually thinking of repainting the whole car 03 NSX blue metallic.

I got an estimate for my rear bumper last month because there a bunch of little dings and scratches from the previous owner. The guy said it would be about $350 for the bumper and moldings and it would take 2 days.

Try compounding it first, it'll work wonders. At least make it less noticeable. I've been in your shoes before. But i'm not repainting because my front or rear will be scratched again for sure. Once every 2-3 months.I wont pay twice for repainting. My point is this'll happen.

Some idiot in a Xterra rear-ended me in rush-hour traffic. The bumper is all scratched up and there is also a small dent. Luckily, only the bumper was damaged and not the metal trunk area. I got an estimate from a body shop for $300 to repair and repaint.

If you have any friends who work at a dealer, find out who paints bumpers on their used lot. These guys usually are there once a week or so, and will match the paint and do a whole bumper for $100.

I need a whole new bumper and have it repainted. I was teaching my GF how to drive stick and I had her in a small area (My fault)... She backed into a wood barrier about 2 feet high. Crushed/cracked the corner of my bumper. I was just happy that it was too low to hit my light.
Now I need a new bumper and need it painted.

Good idea! I used to work at a Nissan dealership and the guy that did our used car repairs quoted me $85 bucks for the whole thing while the body shop at the same dealership quoted $300. He does an amazing job too even damaged bumpers, not just scratches. This is at Turnersville Nissan in South Jersey if anyone wants his number.

There is a guy on Ebay that sells painted bumpers, 240 bux for a painted OE bumper cover + shipping. Type in Maxima Bumper cover and the guy is from Belville IL or something like that.

If you see it let me know. I saw unpainted/primed bumper covers, but none that were painted.

Try PM this guy he sells painted 4th gen bumpers- 5th gen might be like 50-100 bux more. I know 00-01 bumpers are the most expensive ones, they have a grill built into the bumper, where on the 02-03 the grill comes off and is a separate piece from the bumper cover.

Yeah I scratched up my rear bumper about a year and a half ago when I was backing out at Denny's late at night.

I had a local body shop fix it. I paid $306.88 out the door.

They did a really good job, but when out in direct sunlight you can see that the bumper is a bit darker in color than the rest of the car.
Maybe the rest of the car is a little faded from the sun? :got me:

I would've had it done by Nissan's body shop, but they quoted me much higher and I was paying for this out of my own pocket.

I got a guy here who has his own body shop, will sand my bumpers down, and repaint them for 260 bux- both front and rear, including my new ABS front lip that I got. I'm taking it in this week to get painted while I am on vaccation. Hes also gonna take care of all the scratches and pain chips too. Do you guys get a ton of paint chips around the rear wheel arch- right where the rear doors meet with the wheel arch ? Mine is soo pitted up that it makes the car look like its 10 years old !

Yup, I have a bunch of chips by the rear wheel arch. It's got a sandblasted look to it.

My rear bumper got knocked in by my insurance agent in the parking lot.Her insurance is going to cover it and the estimate to swap the bumper and paint it is $1000. It just needs a new bumper I don't care but does anyone know how insurance companies normally work. I can swap it out myself for around $300 but there's no way they'd make that check to me. But anyway I'm going to talk to the shop and tell them I know it's no where near $1000 to fix it. But if he fixes it and fixes my scratches then I'll keep my business there. I'm pretty sure I have a choice in who I bring it to.

DANG that's a good deal. I've got a buddy who is very good who has painted a few cars for me, but I've gone with him to buy the paint, clear, etc. and hell the supplies would cost that much!!
