Anyone Know How To Make The Alarm Stay Silent When Turning It On And Off. I Use To Own A 02 Altima And There Was A Way To Make The Alarm On Those Be Silent When Turning Them On And Off.

On the 2000 fob there are instructions on how to turn the horn off when arming or disarming, making only the lights blink when arming and the dome light turn on when disarming. I'd imagine your Fob has the same or similar feature.

Easy on the Caps BTW.

Press Unlock hold down and lock buttons for about 5 seconds. IF ur having problems make sure batteries fresh because when i wanted to change back it took forever. Directions should also be on the back of the alarm remote.

Oh, btw, then release and test. My keys say both at same time which is the point. But pressing lock, holding then unlock will do. Dont know about unlock first but just hold em both.

didn't work. I held the unlock/ lock on the alarm remote, but after testing it, the alarm still made the loud noise when arming and disarming.
