Sounds tight! Do you have an idea of what it'll look like? Any skethces or prototype pictures you have that we can see?

Ok, just to get things straight, with these lights, we'll get Angel eyes, with projectors, and for those of us with stock HID's, (2002-2003) they will work with no modification???

Yes, everything

Except, you need to buy different HID bulbs (D2S) if they aren't going to be included.

and us, 2k-2k1 people, just have to stick with rewiring the whole thing again, if we want them?

I'd go for them without a problem if they were made for 2k-1's and were plug-n-pray...

How about the housing, will they be made out of something stronger than the cheap plastic that the stock housings are made of?

we've been told that in order for this to fly, we'll have to wait until after November...and order 500 units at a minimum.

Now with that being said would we having a final product and price by november? Or does that mean that they won't consider us until then?

Im interested in this but I have one question. For those with non-HID lights, we will have to keep the stock lights or find someone else to upgrade to xenons?

Umnitza: If 700 is still a considered figure, you have to lower it. It's too expensive and we can all get OEM HIDs from Performance Depot for less than $600 on eBay. I'd say $450 would be a much more reasonable offer.

I'm holding off switching my 2K lights for awhile to see if something comes of this.
i know many people who love the look of the projectors that are now on the market, (myself included) but as everyone knows by now, they just don't live up to anyone's full expectations. Just look how many guys are willing to try to make them work even thought the majority of people agree that the functionality is very poor.
I think if this new projector idea comes to fruition at a reasonable cost it would be huge in this community with both the 2K, 2K1 peeps, (HID envy) and even those with the current HID's, (projector envy). i for one would love to have quality projectors on my ride.

Not really, if it is 600 on ebay...he technically should be charging more....DDEs cost about 175...plus they are projector headlights....these will hopefully be better in terms of overall light output. Im all for a cheaper price, the best we all can get, but we gotta be realistic......there are a lot of behind the stage costs involved. But it really just comes down to the quality of the product. if its sucks then it should be dirt cheap, if is the best on teh market...ok 600-700 is a good price. I think it will be a while before this thing gets going.....

I am more interested to know what these things would look like and if they will be available then price because then i think we are all getting are hopes up. It would be cool if we can see some pics of what they should or could look like and maybe givin an estimate date of when we might see this badboy's

I'm very interested in these if something will come up for 2k-2k1 owners, since i've been considering 2k2 headlights. i'll most likely wait to see what comes of this before buying anything. it would be great if i could get my hands on some 2k2 housings and then use your projector set, that's if you're speaking of these projectors fitting into our stock headlights..

I would be interested. I desperately want to upgrade my headlights with 2k2 2k3 HID but it's so expensive and from what I've read the subject seems to be taboo around here....

I love the look of the stock 2k2-2k3s, and if you could come up with a set that incorporated projectors, I'd definitely be interested. I currently have my 01 AE, and I was looking for something to step up to. Ideally, a smoked housing option would be UNREAL. The only reason I haven't gone up to 2k2/3 headlighs yet is because I don't want to shell out the money and then open them up to tint the housing. I love the stock color of my AE housings...

I say make what you think will work best. People will either buy or not. Either way, a good projector solution that looks like the 2k2-2k3 would be great. I would def. buy.

Umnitza? Hello are you still outthere?? Its been over three months and after November now (referring to your previous posts). Did you find another supplier? I'm wondering if this is still happening or has been abandoned and we were not informed about it? We eagerly wait a reply.
