I have a 2002 GLE and last night while driving I noticed that the auto climate control buttons were not lit up, but the radio buttons were.

Before I make an *** of myself and go to the dealer and ask them to fix the problem, is there a problem? Are the auto climate control buttons supposed to light up?

PS I only have this car a few weeks so I apologize for all the questions.

 

They are supposed to light up. Looks like the bulb is burned out. Go to the dealer, they should fix it.

 

I just had my 6 disc unit changed under warranty, are the Head unit and climate control one unit? Maybe the tech forgot to plug something in.
