WIndow Run Rubber

Ive had this problem for sometime now and have run out of ideas. THe "run rubber" that lines the driver side window down into the door squeeks and squeels and its very annoying. Ive tried lubricants and have also had the passengers side replaced. Im not going to take it back to NIssan b/c they ripped me off. DO we have any how-to's to replace this piece? And if anyone knows what Im talking about this would be great too...And yes Ive looked for the how to on it so no one has to yell at me...thanks

you have to clean in before you lubricate it. (wow that just doesnt sound right)

from my website

How to fix problem of windows rolling up slow and squeaking.
RED - Run a wet rag in the window track then spray whole thing with silicon spray.
BLUE - Wipe inside both rubber pieces with wet rag.

Just buy a can of Silcone spray. You can get this at the dealership for around $3. Then use that. I did that about 3 or 4 months ago. Haven't had a problem since.

Thanks sooner for the info but I know its not the track along the top of the window, I took the door panel off and its the little rubber run down along the inside of the door. Im gonna try the spray from the dealership. I talked to Dave B and he said the same thing that the spray from the dealership should work. I hope so b/c Ive tried every other one,.

just remove the windows completely and use those nifty cargo-net-looking things they have on NASCAR cars.
