replace brake pads at 18k?
replace brake pads at 18k?
My aunt drives a 2000 SE with only 18,000 miles on it, and it seems like she has to replace her brakes. Is this normal?? I drive a 99 maxima and have 46,000 miles, and im replacing mine on monday. Something just doesnt seem right here?
what do you mean "it seems like it" - did you/she actually look at the pads and see how worn they are?
let me guess....the dealer told her they needed to be replaced?
18,000 is really low for brake pads, unless of course she's one of those people who drives with left foot on the brake and right foot on the gas.....I hate those people....always have their brake lights on even when accellerating.

Well actually my uncle looked at the rear brake pads and saw that there wasnt much. At low speeds we hear like "grinding" type noises.
I know i definetly hear it in my max, getting mine done soon.
