Center Console Question

Center Console Question

I just took out the center console because I want to change up the lights...but I'm having trouble unscrewing the mount frmo the radio and the climate control....I got 4 off(climate control) but the 8 on radio are not budging...I already f*cked up two screws. Are they thread locked??

yes they are a guy at the Nissan dealership told me to get a large screwdriver and tap it with a hammer lightly then try to turn a few times and it should come off (BTW this didn't work) I wound up drilling all of the screws out to install my tv...

wow...I had no problem getting them off mine......

which screws are you talking about....the mounting screws, the black ones on the sides of the bracket, or the little ones holding the back of the assembly together?

steady torque my friend!! try spraying some WD-40. i stripped one of them. then used some wd-40 and steady torque. they came off

Mine were a pain in the *** too, I actually broke a crafstman screw driver in there, I finally got them off when I used a socket wrench, with a phillips head bit in there. it made it MUCH easier
