i think the consensus is to get a 2k model number MAF. you need to do a small modification to it. (some wire.)

hopefully someone will post it up.

There is a TSB for a MAF problem (hesitation, etc) for the 2k2, but they don't like to admit to that. If he has no intake or nothing done then have the dealer fix it. If he has done work then he will be hosed and they will want him to buy a $500 replacement. He needs to call Dave B and get a 2k1 MAF.

When it comes in then take the Sensor out of the housing and take the little temp. sensor off the old MAF and put it on the new one. You have to be delicate, that thing will snap and you are screwed. Install the new MAF and vrooom you are off.

no need...you can buy the entire MAF tube assembly for $90 or so.....then you don't have to worry about breaking it while doing the switcheroo...I assume this will work in a 2k.... Part number is: 22680-2Y001

Nah... He has an 02. The MAF for the 01 is $90, the unit for the 02 is like $300 at cost. The only diff. is the temp sensor. You have to move it from the 02 sensor into the 01 sensor.

Is this part number for the 2001? I saw a thread regarding different part numbers and I was getting confused. I think this was the number that worked with jerryromenissan.com.

This is the part number for the "updated" MAF for the 2k-2k1 (which use the same MAF, obviously). I am positive on this point (I carry this one in my trunk just in case)...The old MAF had a completely different number.

There is a TSB to replace the MAF and update the computer for 2002 - 2003 for performance issues.
