Install Instructions on Hella Horns?

Need some direction how to install them. I have the Hella Super Tone, made in germany. There are 2 horns in the box. I have read that they are plug and play. But it doesn't seem like that. before I go ripping out wires, has anyone installed them?

yes...totally plug and play. unplug the 2 wires from each stock horns. Plug them into the hellas. You don't need to use the included relay. The hella brackets fit perfectly into the OEM mounts.

you can install the horns in the factory locations (1 behind the grill and one on the passenger side of the engine bay) or do like me and mount both behind the grill (there are 2 mounting brackets there, but its a PITA to mount them because the grill clearance is so close...hope that helps.

Good morning. There are no polarity to these terminals. Just connect the stock wire to whichever terminal and ground the other terminal. Click here for photos of the installed Hellas.

yes...the other wire is just a ground, sorry I forgot. Just get some wire from radio shack and some crimp=on connectors and make yourself a ground wire and attach it at the grounding point - the closest ones are down next to the washer fluid reservoir neck...

Get a set of 350Z horns. I have the Hella's and while they are louder, I would much prefer a deeper toned horn instead of a high-pitched import tone. Of course, if you like it that way you should be golden...
