Optima yellor or red top
i see a bunch on sears.com and the Optima's range from $126 - 180.
I know sears is expensive compared to some other places I can buy it from but can anyone tell me specifically which one would work best and what the differences are?

Costco
If you are a member of costco, you can get KIRKLAND brand. I got one. I think it cost me 40 bucks. comes with a 3 yr warranty.
Anyway, FYI, the manufacturer of OPTIMA batteries make the kirkland brand.
pretty cool eh?
it all depends how much you wanna spend. I went with the costco one...
works great!

What's so great about an Optima battery? I was curious about them...what makes them different from regular batteries to justify the 140 dollar price tag? I know it's not just the cool case they come in with the yellow or red top...

The red or yellow tops are mainly just for looks. Save your money and get a Die-Hard Gold w/ good CCA since you live in NY w/ cold winters.
