Help with handeling

Dear org members....haha i'm trying to be all proffesional here. Anyway today i had aquired 400 dollars and i have a stock 2000 maxima se automatic. I was going to buy some PIAA head bulbs for my car becuase they look awsome, but that would cut me down to like 300 dollars. So i think i will put a little hold on those. I was thinking what should i invest those 400 dollars in. Like i'm dying to get better handeling on my car. I have attendecy to make really quick turns and a little while ago my car spun out and i almost **** my self. Thank God no one got hurt and car is fine. But i was thinking like buying rear sway bar, but then again tires would be better but they are also alot more expensive. Also i heard suspension helps you out alot. But what kind of suspension am i able to get for 400 bucks. If you guys can help me out with this i would be very greatfull to you.
Thaaaaaaaank You

IMO, a rear sway bar is the best 'bang for the buck' handling mod you can do. With the leftover cash, you could get lowering springs, but you's probably want to get new struts, too. All of this would be a bit more than $400, but these will transform the handling of your Max. Get the sway bar and springs now and save a bit more for struts.

I agree with bluesbrekr on all points...but here's an idea of what I would get and the order I'd get them in. This is assuming that you are NOT getting tires (though they are important, especially if you have worn down Potenzas).

1. Rear sway bar (RSB) - you can get a Cattman, Progress, or Addco bar for about $125 (Stillen is about $200 and does the same thing)
2. Stage II lower tie bar (LTB). These are only available from one place: www.mattblehm.com, but are a perfect complement to the RSB. They basically do for the front of the car what the RSB does for the back. LTB is about $125.
3. Front strut tower bar/brace (FSTB). These can be had for as llittle as $25 on ebay....and that's about what they're worth.
4. Springs - you can get some maxspeeds (which I have) that slightly lower the car, reduce body roll, and are not much lower than stock. They can be had for about $100.
So far you'd be at around $400.

but if you're getting springs, get struts at the same time....you can get Tokico "Blues" for about $200 or Illuminas (with adjustable soft/hard ride) for about $450.

Tires....suggest Falken Ziex 512s...great in the rain, good in the dry and snow as well. You can get a set in OEM size for around $400.

This is all assuming you are going to do all installs yourself. RSB and FSTB are easy, LTB, springs and struts require some mechanical know-how and the right tools....

hope that helps.

How long will it take for you to get more funds around 450? I would get RSB and lights, and I had 150 left for srping. and then you need another 450 for illuminas (i prefer illuminas). all depends how long it will take... coz you don't want to buy springs and let them sit on ur bedroom. or even if you installed springs without changing struts, you would double work urself when you change struts...
