mod handeling first or the engine first

96 auto gle
should i go for the handeling first (eibach, tokico illumina, front and rear sway bars) or go for the speed first (e.g. intake, muff. y pipe)

I'd personally go with handling, it'd be a good idea to add some light 17x8s with sticky rubber to that list, you can have a great suspension setup but if your tires can't hold the road then its pointless. Low profile tires are pretty much essential.

Why not a bit of both? Start with a FSTB and RSB for suspension. And a Y-pipe for performance (best back for buck mod out of the three you listed). Then lower it later on...

And somewhere in there, why not some clear corners?

I'm with you on that one.....suspension first, learn to drive it, then add power. BTW ch13f, how much difference did the Warpspeed Y pipe make? I just ordered one and I see that our cars are similar. I'm adding that and a RSB with week. Should be fun!

^ You'll feel the y-pipe, I definatly noticed it more than my Injen intake. Adds a little rumble to the exhaust also.

Alot of horsepower is useless unless you can keep the car firmly planted on the ground....... I would go for som suspension stuff first, then a little bit of Power, then more handling.....

Rear Sway Bar is a little over $100, Front Strut Tower Brace is pretty cheap on Ebay (~$20) and they will make a noticable difference in handling. Y-pipe is around $200 depending on which one you go with and gives about 15 HP to the wheels , no other NA power mod can do that.
