Canadian Max 260hp???

I have a 2k2 6spd from canada and i was reading an article the other day and it said the 2k2 was 260HP...did the canadian market get a 5hp bump from the US model, or was this just misinformation? i think the article was from canadiandriver.com, but i don't remember for sure. can anyone answer this?

What was the date of the mag? Early on, Nissan had said it would be 260. When the 2K2 actually came out, it was down to 255.

No i have an article that says the 2k2 in the usa was 260hp. YOu may have an article that was old and they restated the actual hp at the crank to 255. The current brochure i have says 255hp

also possible there's a "difference" because cars in the US are measured in horsepower (standard) while in canada/europe/everywhere else it's measured in metric horsepower (there is a very slight difference, but could account for +/- 5 hp)
