question on fog rewire...

ok ive been going by housecors diagram which is really helpful but my problem is getting the fuse box out... ive unhooked the engine side tabs but im having problems on the other side... ive unhooked the corner tabs but according to his instructions all i have to do is squeeze the 2 middle tabs together and it should come out.. well thats not happening.. ive got 2 small screwdrivers keeping the tabs completely open and its solidly stuck in there... anyone have problems at this step or what.. any suggestions would be appreciated... thanks..

yep, had the same exact problem, i got the fuse box to open partialy. i spent 45 mins just reading the directions over and over again, and trying to get it to open. they i just said screew this, and did it with out opening it. it made the job much harder, but i did it!

and it is worth it... looks sweet.

pick up some of these bulbs for the corners...

and some of these for you fogs...

and you will riding good. enjoy!

I had my girlfriend and her dad help me. I got in front of the car and they reached over the side. We all had a screwdriver and eventually we got it off. It is definitely a pain in the butt.

actually i did get it.. of course right after i gave up and asked on here.. when you squeeze the tabs together you have to get a good grip and pull directly up and it will slide out no problem... it was definetly worth it...

Yep. PITA. I had all sorts of tiny screwdrivers stuck in all the holes in housecor's photos. I needed 3 more hands. With a little wiggling and luck I got it off. It took 15-20 min to get it off, then 6 min to do the actual work.

Did the mod tonight. It was a pain to get that out of there! I just unbolted on the sides of the car so I could get a good look at it - The bolts were easy to get out - practically hand tightened. Also, I wired so only the fogs will come on by themselves WITHOUT the parks - and still with the switch...
