Car wont start?????????????

Its a 01 GLE, the car at first would try to start then i thought maybe a jump would help, but when i try and start it with the cables on i get no response at all from the car likes it dead. When i take the cables off i started to get the clicking noise.

Is this the battery, alt, starter??

The power seats moved and the radio turned on, so there must be a little juice left. When locking the car the horn sounds very dim.

Its stuck in a parking lot right now so any insigh would help thanks.

Did you hook up the negative jumper cable to the battery or ground?

wait, before you mess with teh starter...

take out your battery, and put in a brand new one and then try to start it

i have a 2000 GLE and i had the EXACT same problem less than 1 month ago -- it was the battery (and it wouldn't start even with cables).

sounds like you had the cables on backwards when you tried to jump it, and that your battery is dead....

If that is the case, ground the negative cable and try it again. I def think the battery is gone

anyone know how to pull the alt fuse out. It is attached to the positive terminal.

I tried to pull up but it started breaking. And yes i somehow managed to blow the fuse.
