Throttle body needs cleaning?

When I press the gas pedal, theres a hesitation for a second before the car responds. Is this a sign of a dirty throttle body? If so, anyone know if there is a write up on how to clean the throttle body? Car is at 70k mark.

It may or may not be the TB but if you want to clean it, here is a pretty good write-up.

Use only air intake and TB cleaner, don't use carb cleaner because it may damage the inner walls of the TB or sensors.

for best results remove the throttle body so you can clean the back of it. the back will have twice as much carbon build up as the front.

pictures on how to remove it as well as pictures from before and after cleaning
