How to get rid of this dent???

Is the paint damaged at all? If not, you could try one of these...

try a spoon from inside the hood. or wrap a piece of wood in a towel. place it on the dent, then use rubber malet from the opposite side, very gently though. i have used that method and it worked fine for me.

Don't bother with this. I bought one off ebay to fix the exact same dent...except it is on my wifes Forester, but it is in the same place and size. I tried 4 times and it didn't budge. Pay a paintless dent repair place to take care of it.
