Is the paint damaged at all? If not, you could try one of these...

Let Dentwizard fix it for you. If you have them up there. They specialize in paintless dent repairs.

try a spoon from inside the hood. or wrap a piece of wood in a towel. place it on the dent, then use rubber malet from the opposite side, very gently though. i have used that method and it worked fine for me.

Don't bother with this. I bought one off ebay to fix the exact same dent...except it is on my wifes Forester, but it is in the same place and size. I tried 4 times and it didn't budge. Pay a paintless dent repair place to take care of it.

I have the "Ding King" which did a fine job with dents on my old 4th gen. However, it won't pull a dent where the metal is creased like yours. Now that spoon idea does sound interesting...

the spoon actually did work for me. you need a good strong spoon and constant, but gebtle, torque.

There doesn't appear to be any paint damage. Get in touch with either Dent Doctor or Dent Wizzard. I'm actually getting mine done this weekend. I'll post some before and after pics for you once it's complete over the weekend.

+1 on the Dentwizard. I had them take out door dings on a couple doors, and a couple shallow dents on the front of my hood. Did it perfectly for about $135 total.
