Well, not in a Maxima though. Today at California Speedway I got to take three hotlaps in a Panoz, three laps on the oval in an IROC, and a short drift session in a Mustang.

The Panoz road course was the fastest and hardest that I've ever been in a car. Simply amazing, the sounds and G-forces of a true race car are like none other. Watching that stuff on TV doesn't compare to actually being in the car. I never thought NASCAR was fun to watch..... I still don't. But actually being on the track is a whole other story!! When you are coming up on a wall at 130mph in a banked turn, and then taveling by that same wall that's one foot away from your face... pucker up real tight.

We also got to meet Gil de Ferran, this years Indy 500 winner. Very cool guy. He autographed my driving gloves and head sock.

Alright, now who want's to go to racing school???
