Well I have H&R, and it ride's pretty well(being what I live in NYC), real close to stock. For the ride comfort it give up in handling, compared to tein's or eibach's. Maxspeed I herd ride's almost the same way but give you a lower drop.!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think the choice is your's.

I for one don't need a real low drop, NYC winter's are too bad(I just don't feel like digging my car out everytime it snows)!!!!!!!!!!. Need to move.......LOL

Maxspeed is just fine. The drop is just right. Comfort is pretty good, too.

Power performance? No. Handling, absolutely. It'll corner like a brand new car. You'll always stay dead center in your seat when turning. And you'll never feel the car drag when making sudden lane changes.

On another note, Arnold are you really installing the projectors before the Umnitza HID ones come out?

Everytime I read about maxspeeds I always see "like stock" i just bought some and I will be pi$$ed off if my car doesnt handle better than stock. I am also adding tokico blues with them and I hear those are like stock also. damn

Yeah. I got them dirt cheap, so I don't really care. If Umnitza's projectors look nicer (the high beam unit is smaller than the low beam unit \Oo=oO/) then I'll get them. Also, the projectors I got were from a friend (QMax03 on the Org) and they are retrofitted with a HID capable lense, so it's all good. =D

It'll handle billions of times better than stock. The trade off will be this:

Advantage:
Cornering
Significantly reduced body roll
Passengers will not shift around left and right under tigher turning
Your head won't jolt back when you accelerate
You won't lean forward anymore when you brake
Rising soft bumps (i.e. school bumps) will be taken in better.

Disadvantage:
You'll likely feel sharp bumps a bit more than usual, but nothing terribly different.

And that's it. :\

And all of this is coming from someone who lives in NYC. We have the *worst* streets here. You're in Maryland! You have nothing to worry about.

I like my Maxspeeds....on Illuminas - ride is firm but comfortable....similar to stock SE, but less floaty. And in my opinion, it's a very even drop and doesn't "look" lowered - looks the way the car SHOULD have looked stock....

I have lived in NYC.
I work in MD currently.

MD streets SUCK! The worst streets in MD are easily as bad as the worst streets in NYC, in my opinion. Boston has the worst streets in the country, IMO....

By the way, try driving in Naples, Italy. Then you'll think NYC, MD, and Boston roads are great!!

Well, then my good man, I stand corrected. And yes, I can imagine what it's like driving in Italy. Here in Queens (Forest Hills) we have a brief patch of road that is all brick. It is a preserved landmark of Forest Hills and I'd imagine it's hell driving on that for any longer than 2 mins.

When you hear Maryland think of D.C. I frequently catch myself changing lanes every few seconds just to dodge huge potholes for big potholes
