yeah the method I used was fairly easy...sharpie in 3 places:
-contact patches of the clear plastic light transmitter thingy (you'll know what I'm talking about if you take it apart.
-colored (3 coats) clear transparency film cut to fit in front of LCD displays
-colored inside of buttons (be careful, they are easy to break the tabs off when removing).
oh, don't forget to take the blue/green "condoms" off the bulbs. If you leave them on it will be too dim.
The only downside I've found is that the blue on the buttons and plastic grid will fade over time (no surprise) so every 3-4 months I take it apart and add another coat of blue to get the deep blue color back....
Originally I did 4 coats on the transparency film, but found it was too dim in sunlight and bright days. I just took it apart again this week and put new transparency film in, with only 2-3 coats. It now shows up fine in the day and at night. Color is "slightly" more greeninsh than in my cardomain pics, but is still blue, not turquoise....

changed everything to blue by replacing all the leds to blue. there is no way the i'd be willing to take apart everything and color it in with a blue marker every 4 months... thats just retarded. (no offence) if your going to do something, do it right.

solder on the resistor to the "positive" side of the led leg. the positive side is the one with the smaller diode. (if you look in the led, you will see two metal contacts. smaller is the positive one)
