Installed Injen Intake and having problems...
About two months ago, I installed the Injen intake on my 2000 SE and have been experiencing some problems with engine knock and stalling. I followed all the directions and I also reset the ECU by disconnecting the battery overnight so that the ECU could relearn the new setup. After about a couple of days the SES light came on. Well, this problem seems to be getting progressively worse. Once the engine warmed up, the car ran just fine.
The engine knocking/stalling used to only occur when the engine was cold, but now it seems like it's whenever I start the car. Well I doubt this has anything to do with it, but I recently did an oil change and the next day was when it started to do this.
Could this be a bad MAF sensor or what? I'm at a loss of what to do. Help!

Possibly a bad MAF... I'd see about buying a spare MAF sensor at the cheapest you can and try swapping it out.
Also, do verify that there are no leaks in the intake past the MAF sensor...

What part number of the MAF should I get? I read somewhere that there was two different ones out there one of which is a newer model which is improved somewhat.
BTW - What could cause a MAF to go bad? I was pretty careful when I installed the intake. Do the MAFs for the Maxima have a history of problems?
