HELP Arospeed UDP

i recently installed an arospeed UDP when i was looking at the crankshaft postion sensor tabs on the crank pulley itself they didnt appear to line up just right, well i installed it anyways and that car started and ran just fine. i was just wondering if anyone has had any experience like this one and knows whether the difference in appearance is due to the fact that the circumfrence of the ring itself may be slightly larger than factory but not enough to hit the crankshaft position sensor. i made sure that nothing was going to interfere before starting and i also made sure that the pulley bolt was very tight.
