Hi guys,
I'm new to the org. I have an 01 Max with the Bose system. My sub goes in and out at random times. Any ideas why it does this? Sometimes sound will come out of it and others it will not. I checked all the connections to the sub and all looks ok. Any help will be appreciated.

 

i have the SAME EXACT problem. It turned out to be a little computer chip in the wiring in the trunk...it sounds like the remote turn on or something. If you like e-mail me at ToyotaTRD33@aol.com with ur email add. and I will send u pics showing you ecactly what it is

myn hasent been working for a while now.. i know its not blown .. but i would like to get it working again so if any of you have any ideas PM me or just write it up here.. but i have been looking for a chip or somthing.. but i know the remote turn on works cause my other sub works.. and its coneccted to the same wire, but the stock sub doesnt work..

so where does this computer chip go.. where can i get one and how much will it be

 

I don't have this circuit board in my "in-line" wiring. I have an 01 Se with bose. Anyone have this problem with theirs?

 

i dont think my SE 01 came with a sub...its just 4 6 1/2" speakers on each door...nothing in the trunk? i dunno maybe just my car.
