Just wondering cuz it'd be nice to save some money over the pricey Injen, and I dont like the Frankencar.

that doesn't appear to be a cold air intake.

I have one very similar to that one that I bought off eBay. It isn't a true cold air intake. It is just like the Ingen one that sits right behind the radiator. I modified my a little to draw air from the bottom of the car and bypass the heat from the radiator.

You made it draw from even lower? I'm not sure that's all that safe.

Sorry for digging this up, but did any of you have any problem with the MAF? Or is it just the frankencar that gave people problems with that?

i have frankencar with stillen filter for thousands miles on it -my stillen is dirty too- and i got no problem with my MAF

Nol its similar to the Injen intake, supposedly it bends down behind the radiator.
