jacking up the car by the axel? ok or not?

im planning to put in my rsb tomorrow and as the progress rsb intructions suggest to take the rear wheels off to move the abs and handbrake cables, unlike other write ups that say i can just put the car on ramps, anyway is it ok to use a hydrolic jack and raise the car by the middle of the rear axel? im not retarted i just wanna make sure, its just such a pain using the hand jack on both sides. anybody riase their car by the rear axel in general?

the rsb goes underneath the rear axle so the only way to install it is on ramps or jackstands.

like i said im not retarted, of course im going to use jack stands, i meant just to jack it up by the axel and then put it on stands, instead of ussing a hand jack and each side.

by the way anything good about the progeress rsb?

Progress RSB = Addco RSB which has been proven for many years now.

I used ramps to install mine. It was very easy to do and I did not have to remove any cables or hardware. Just remember that the attachments to the rear axle must be moved in to avoid contact from the multlink arm.
