Can one lower 2000 se seats???

Maybe it's because i'm 6'5", maybe it's cause i'm used to the 4 gen, or maybe it's because i feel like i'm sitting ON STILTS!!!! I was wondering if anyone has tried to lower the seats in their Maximas or if it's so common (i wish) that no one talks about it online... Please respond with hints or tips or walkthroughs....hehe.
thanks in advance

hmm...my friend is 6'7"...he has a honda accord..and has problem like you do... but when he sits in my maxima..i think he feels much better...you can pull the seat all the way down like my friend does or just take seat off and do some modification to make seat lower ( which you need to find out how..lol)...

im not tall, only 5'10, but coming from my accord, my seat lowered all the way was MUCH lower than the maxima. maybe cuz it was a coupe and considered sporty with a lower seating position, i dunno, but what if you got those brackets that are meant for racing seats, and tried to attach your seats to them? they may end up making it sit lower, im not sure tho. thats my only guess.

Yeah, at least on mine, with the power seats and leather the adjuster can move the seat up/down... I'm 5'11" and I find the lowest position to be uncomfortable on my legs (working clutch, gas, brake, etc... feels like there isn't enough room so my legs stay in an uncomfortable position), even with the seat ALL the way back... I raised my seat a little and now it's comfortable.

I got my seat height position all the way down and my head still rubs the headliner. I have been thinking about pulling my seat out as well and modifying it.
