How can I prove this?

I had my car towed from a house to the dealer via AAA service. I decided not to get it serviced there so I had it AAA back to the house I am going to repair it to. The first tow truck driver had an attitude when he took my car away and I ended up not tipping him. He had a truck that lifted the car with two wheels, with the rear wheels rolling. The second two truck driver was much more professional, he actually had a uniform, spoke eye to eye with me and had a flat bed. I tipped him.

After he left I noticed there was a gouge (sp?) / scratch right underneath the driver-side foglight. It dug in 1/4 - 1/2 of an inch into the plastic. I don't know how to prove that the first driver or either driver did it for that matter. I know I didn't. Should I complain to AAA or should I just bite the bullet and try to fix and paint it?

if you have no way to prove it, i think it will be hard to do anything. doesn't hurt to try though

What is there to lose? They definatly have records of the towings and they are a huge company who wants to keep their customers happy. I would definatly try for some sort of compensation.

Depending on the towing company AAA uses, when you sign the paperwork before he drives away with the car, there's sometimes another sheet noting any existing damage to the vehicle. Did you see anything like that when you had your car towed?

I recieved no paperwork whatsoever, save the bill from the dealership. Should I call the local office or just go there?

I guess that's a good thing? Cuz then there's no damage disclaimer that frees them from responsibility from your damages incurred.... I dunno.... just a thought...
