i found a good price on an unorthodox pulley, but it says it fits 2002 maxima. anyone know if it will fit my 2000? i know its a different engine, but figure hey it doesn't hurt to ask anyone. just trying to get a good deal here

 

NO. it does not have the timing ring on it. Now a 2000 will fit on a 2002 cause you can take the timing ring off. but not vice versa

 

Actually, i think you meant, "it will fit, it just won't work without the steel timing ring"
